I Shropshire

From a stable in the
country landscape.

The studio occupies a converted horse stable in rural Shropshire: a quiet place of old brick, timber and changing northern light. The countryside sets the pace.

II The practice

Between measured observation and the beautiful irregularity of the Shropshire landscape, we make work with a quiet human presence.

Each piece begins as a drawing, before being built in clay over weeks or months. Marks from the hand remain: evidence of pressure, revision and time.

IV Private commissions

A likeness. A memory. A presence.

Made for a
particular place.

From intimate portrait studies to full-scale figurative work, each commission is a close conversation between sitter, sculptor and material.
